Quick Quotes
Q. Hye-Jin Choi is with us now at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. What are your thoughts on today's third round?
HYE-JIN CHOI: (Through translation.) It was the most windy, it was really windy today and I thought it was the most windiest day of the week. It took a long time to finish my round and I feel a little tired but I tried to keep to be calm and if I make a mistake I tried to makeup well.
So I just finished my round in the score.
Q. What is with your personal way to deal with the conditions and to recover after, no?
HYE-JIN CHOI: (Through translation.) So to talk about my recent weeks, I had really great weeks recently. I tried to concentrate on how to keep my shots and today was really windy so it was kind of hard.
I had a good start but I made one double bogey. After that I tried to save my chances.
Q. And the last thing: This is not the first time you're in contention in a major. You've been up here before. How do you approach the last day when you're in that position?
HYE-JIN CHOI: (Through translation.) So I have last round left and after tomorrow I'm going back it Korea to just have some rest and attend a competition, too.
So it's like about three months in U.S. which I have competed in lots of tournaments. I just want to finish with a good round tomorrow.
I'll try to keep my faith and not to do really well but just to keep my shots going on, yeah.
Q. Do difficult conditions bring out the best in you as a player?
HYE-JIN CHOI: (Through translation.) Actually I really played well in the hard courses recently, but I think that if the course is really hard, any players can make mistakes.
I think the difference is when you make mistake you try to keep your faith and make less mistakes afterwards. I'm just trying to go on for the other tournaments, too.
