Quick Quotes

Q. Grace Kim is with us now at the 2025 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Grace, great day for you, 4-under 68. What went well for you out there?

GRACE KIM: I think I definitely hit a lot more greens today compared to yesterday. I think I had very similar conditions this morning as I did yesterday afternoon, so I kind of knew what I had to do and how low I had to keep the ball or how well I had to control the ball.

Just worked on the range prior to my round today just trying to dial that in and, yeah, it worked out well today.

Q. Looked like you had good stretches in the first two days and every thing came together today, no? So how did that happen?

GRACE KIM: Again, like I tried to simplify it as much as I could. I hit it a lot better. There is a lot of crosswinds, right to left or left to right. Rather than trying to work it with the wind, sometimes I just had to control it by holding it, so those kind of shots went well.

Yeah, holed a few more putts today.

Q. How tough is it to putt with this wind? What adjustments do you need to make?

GRACE KIM: I think you just got to make sure you go in fully committed. It's like you said, it is tough. Wind is just blowing sideways. Just finding your balance as well.

So making sure you do back away if you need to. Any doubt you just back away, and, yeah, trying to commit to every putt you can.

The wind can affect how the ball results, so it's, yeah, just making sure you're staying patient out there as well.

Q. Everybody is talking about the course setup this week. Looked like you embraced it today. What can you say about that?

GRACE KIM: It's tough. It's a major, so it's a given. I think it does get to a point where some pins just didn't quite match the wind conditions so that makes it extra tough. Everyone is in the same boat, so just got to kind of cop one on the chin.
