Quick Quotes

Q. Rio Takeda joins us now at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Rio, 1-under today; 3-under overall. How are you feeling heading into the weekend?

RIO TAKEDA: (Through translation.) Yes, first half I had three bogeys, so disappointed with that.

But back nine I was able to get some good birdies to recover, so I think that was good.

Q. What was the key with your mental attitude do you think today and being able to deal with the conditions? More wind today, so, yeah.

RIO TAKEDA: (Through translation.) Pretty simple: I knew it was going to be a long day today so I think I had my mental part prepared well. I think I that worked out well.

Q. Are you feeling more comfortable -- it's difficult, but are you feeling comfortable on this golf course each day?

RIO TAKEDA: (Through translation.) Obviously with this wind it's quite challenging.

Q. The last thing: Talking about comfortable, how comfortable are you being in contention in a major like this and do you sleep well at night? Are you nervous?

RIO TAKEDA: (Through translation.) Not really. There wasn't really any type of -- I wasn't really nervous about this last two days. I think I was just feel like my confidence level was good enough to play these two days.
