KPMG WOMEN'S PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

June 20, 2025

Jeeno Thitikul

Frisco, Texas, USA

Fields Ranch East

TV

Q. Jeeno, on a day when many of the world's top ranked players failed to even break par, you maintained your spot atop the leaderboard. What was the biggest challenge out there today?

JEENO THITIKUL: Wind. Wind and the rough I guess. I mean, like I had a better tee shot than yesterday and then like put myself in the positions that I have a chance. If not, I just like trying to make par.

I think par it's really big key here. No matter what, no birdies, but 18 par, you take it.

Q. What are you going to need to do well here the next two days to maintain this position on the leaderboard?

JEENO THITIKUL: I think it's depend on the wind. If you can be committing with the wind you see and then calculating really good and putting yourself like tee-to-green really well and then making par, I think it's good enough.
