Q. Somi Lee is with us now at the 2025 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Somi, nice 2-under round for you today. What did you do well out there?

SOMI LEE: I had 2-under today. I expected a lot of wind today, but actually there wasn't a lot of wind so that made it a little bit easier for me today.

This course, especially the tee shots and putting, is very important so that's the part I focused on training and practicing.

Yeah, the result was 2-under today.

Q. The best part of your game today? What do you think worked especially well for you?

SOMI LEE: Except for the three putter I made a lot of par saves, which helped me with the rhythm and to help me finish the game.

Q. And the last thing: I don't know how many times you've been in contention in a major, but how does it feel to be there, to be feeling like you could be close to the win, no?

SOMI LEE: Yes, every major is a big tournament and of course I want to play well. But as you all know, golf is not going well when you want to play well, so I'm just focusing on keeping my routine and just play as usual. Focusing on my routine. That's my total focus this week.
