Quick Quotes
Q. Describe your emotions now that you're through to the last day.
RICHARD TEDER: Still can't really believe it. The first match went to three extra holes. Made some really, really clutch putts. Second match got up really quickly. Played some really good golf, was 6 up after six and then he started to play some really good golf.
Yeah, I finished on 16. It was fun. Very thankful to be here.
Q. You've obviously made the quarterfinals a couple of years ago. Are there any learnings from that experience that you can apply to tomorrow?
RICHARD TEDER: Yeah, just play my own game, nothing crazy. Hitting the ball really good, putting well. If I play some good golf, I don't think anyone can beat me, so it'll be really fun.
Q. Tell me about the golf course this week. Obviously it was very calm but sunny throughout the whole week, and this afternoon the wind has got up. Has the golf course changed in how you approach it?
RICHARD TEDER: We're very lucky that the rough is low, so you can hit it in the rough and get away with it, but it's 10 times better to come from the fairways. The wind is picking up all the time, so you have to have all types of shots to get close to the pin, so it's a good challenge, yeah.
Q. You're obviously through to the last eight players. Do you allow yourself to think about making the final and lifting the trophy or are you focused on one match at a time?
RICHARD TEDER: Just one match at a time, one shot at a time. You can't get ahead of yourself. You just have to keep playing shot by shot and just stay in the moment.
Q. You've obviously had a lot of golf so far this week. How do you reset and make sure that you're fresh starting tomorrow's match?
RICHARD TEDER: Have some dinner now and go to bed.
