Oklahoma City Thunder
Game 5: Postgame
Oklahoma City Thunder 120, Indiana Pacers 109
Q. How proud are you of this team’s response to Indiana’s comeback in the fourth quarter?
LUGUENTZ DORT: Good. I feel like we got better. We’ve been in this position, in Game 1. We did a great job taking care of the ball and executing.
Q. Youngest team in the league and now one win away from the championship. What does this say about the team and about the evolution of the game?
LUGUENTZ DORT: It says a lot. Every step we did, we earned and did it together. We have to go out there and earn another to finish it up.
Q. You are 14 for 24 in the Finals from 3. You were 26 percent from 3 your first year in the playoffs. How confident are you out there and how proud are you of the work?
LUGUENTZ DORT: Big. It was a process, honestly, from my rookie year. I got more experience now. I watched a lot of film. I see how teams are guarding me in the past years. It was just the work. I was young -- 26 percent is crazy. It shows the work really pays off.
