NBA FINALS: THUNDER VS. PACERS

June 15, 2025

Myles Turner

Indiana Pacers

Practice Day

Q. Now with a day to digest it, how do you guys respond, and how do you feel about emotionally, giving away that chance to be up 3-1?

MYLES TURNER: This is what the Finals are about, about response. Can't dwell on it too much. It's the task at hand. It's all the little things, you know what I mean. I think we did enough offensively to win that game, and now we have to make minor adjustments and move forward.

Q. Shepp [Ben Sheppard] said it was about the little things in those last four minutes. Did you notice anything specific, that you think you need to do better?

MYLES TURNER: Keep playing fast. Keep playing with pace. That's how we play, and that's how we made our mark. It's not coming off our principles.

Q. Have you recovered? How are you feeling?

MYLES TURNER: I'm all right. No excuses this time of year, it is what it is. People get sick all the time. You can't stop the train from rolling. Take it for what it is, take my medicine and get rolling.

Q. Which team has more pressure right now with three games in front of you?

MYLES TURNER: I don't like to look at it that way, which team has more pressure. We’re both feeling the pressure. Both have to go out and perform. It's a matter of going out and making the most of the moment.

Q. Do you think this Game 5 is similar than Game 1, they are playing at home --

MYLES TURNER: It's 0-0. You can say that, it's 0-0.

Q. You guys have been so good after losses, you guys haven't lost back-to-back in months. Why has this team been so good about bouncing back?

MYLES TURNER: We play better with our backs against the wall. Adversity is something that's going to bring out the best in you. I think that's really what it is, is just a response.

Q. You guys have been down 15, 17 in some of these games. Does this team need a thumb on it a little bit to push?

MYLES TURNER: At times, again, when your back is against the wall, that's typically I guess we show what we're made of -- that's typically where we get our best basketball, yeah.

Q. You guys have made winning on the road seem easier than obviously it is to do this postseason. What is the key to winning road games especially on this stage?

MYLES TURNER: Stay in the moment. Realizing what it was. It's a hostile environment, and, in the end, you know, this is what you dream of, playing in these environments with the highest stakes possible, I think that's really what it is. We come together when moments get tough and just figure it out.
