Q. All right, here with Somi after her final round at the Meijer LPGA Classic. 7-under 65 and a 5-under front nine. Talk about just how the day was today.

SOMI LEE: Recently I've been improving my iron shots and I've been practicing a lot and spending a lot of time with my putting. The result I think I scored five birdies on the front nine, and yeah, I'm very happy for the round.

Q. And then hit all 18 greens today. What does that say about where your game is at?

SOMI LEE: Honestly, I had nothing going in my mind. Just blank. I've been playing golf for a long time and every since I was young every time I think simple and have nothing complicated on my mind I have the feeling I play better so that's what I did today.

Q. The 7-under round matches your all-time 18-hole record on the LPGA Tour. How does it feel to post that during a final round?

SOMI LEE: I just realized it was my second 7-under par. Like I will work hard from now and like I will try to hit more under-7s and even better scores in the future.

Q. Last question: Heading into next week, a major championship, what kind of confidence does this give you?

SOMI LEE: Yes, next week is a major tournament but every tournament, including the majors, is important. I will play the next tournament thinking that it's not a major tournament. I'll just try my best to keep playing my routines.
