Quick Quotes
Q. Really a day where you're certainly in the tournament, still certainly in it. Just give me an overall view of what your round was like.
THRISTON LAWRENCE: Yeah, I played nicely, like you say. I was 6-under at one stage and now I'm 1-over. Obviously disappointed in that sense. But on this golf course -- I mean, yesterday was my day. Today looked like it was supposed to be my day, but at least we -- this golf course can punish you with good shots.
I think it was only on 14 or my 13th hole today where I really felt like I'm in trouble. The four bogeys I made were so soft, it was so soft, and I three-putted there, and just the indecisive second shot on 18, wrong club that made me poor on the second shot. But overall I played nicely, but frustrating day because it felt like we were out there for seven hours, and yeah, I'm still happy to be in by a couple of shots.
Q. We had to suspend play; you're on the green and you have a putt --
THRISTON LAWRENCE: I've got a three-foot putt for par left. Just about when I was going to take my putt, the siren sounded. A bit frustrating in that sense, but those are the rules, and probably we're going to come back tomorrow morning and finish it. It's an important putt. Each shot means a lot in a championship like this.
Q. How do you approach tomorrow? It's going to be another grinding day, but this course does it --
THRISTON LAWRENCE: That's for sure. I'm playing nicely, so I just need to look at it that I made four birdies out there today, got myself a lot of chances. I'm just going to keep on being aggressive and commit. I think that's the main thing. Stay patient.
