Q. Great result this afternoon. You're into the quarterfinals of the Women's Amateur tomorrow. How tough was that playing against Hannah this afternoon?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: Oh, it was -- tough is good, I think. I love playing against good players. She's a phenomenal player, really, really nice person, so it was just a lot of good golf out there, and I'm really happy I could pull it off. It means a lot for me.

Q. I know she's been desperate to go try and win this competition, so you've ended her hopes, but how difficult a match was it and how well did you play to have to beat her?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: Well, it was interesting because I hit it pretty far off the tee and she also hits it far. There's not many players who can compete with me off the tee, so that was just a lot of fun. I wasn't really able to rely on my distance like I am a lot of times. She demanded my best golf, and I'm grateful I was able to bring it.

Q. A long day. How did you feel after coming through two ties?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: You know, it was a long day. I just kind of tried to stay patient, stay hydrated, stay fueled up. Two very different matches against two pretty different golfers, so just tried to take it all in stride and stay where my feet are.

Q. Your first time here, first time playing the championship?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: Yes.

Q. Did you expect to go this far?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: I didn't really come in with any expectations at all. Expectations can sometimes disappoint you, so I just wanted to come have fun, play on a phenomenal golf course, and just kind of see where my game could take me. I'm just really grateful to be here.

Q. You've obviously adjusted to the weather, the wind and the dry conditions. What's been the biggest challenge to your game to do that?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: I think I've got a really great local caddie, and he's just really boosted my confidence definitely around the greens, into the greens, and just kind of being able to rely on some of my distance off the tee, take some pretty aggressive lines and just hope for some good bounces. I said to him in the practice round, what's kind of cool about this golf course is that good tee shots or good shots can get just as many bad breaks as bad shots can get good breaks, so it's really been good for me to just play aggressive, which is how I like to play.

Q. Is that the game plan tomorrow for the quarterfinals, stay the same?

TILLIE CLAGGETT: Hopefully.
