WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

June 11, 2025

Hannah Darling

Hunstanton, England, United Kingdom

Quick Quotes

Q. You birdied the last two, great finish. It was pretty steady all day really. You knew where you were sitting, so that's the job done?

HANNAH DARLING: Yeah, 100 percent. Just make the cut is the only job the last two days, and obviously happy to have done that. I would say that this afternoon it started getting a little bit harder as the day went on with the wind picking up and the course firming up. But just really proud of how I stuck in there and finished birdie-birdie, which is always nice, just to finish on a high note for today.

Q. It's a different ballgame, match play, but the birdie-birdie finish, a nice bit of momentum?

HANNAH DARLING: Yeah, 100 per cent. I know my game is in a really good place, and just keeping it on that positive going into tomorrow is going to be very important.

Q. We know about your record in this, the two semifinals. That does drive you on, doesn't it, to go a wee bit further?

HANNAH DARLING: Yeah, it drives me, but I think I'm just trying not to put too much pressure on it. I think we all know where I'd want to stand at the end of week. But it's just go take each day as it comes and we'll be very happy with wherever this week takes me.
