THE MODERATOR: Qinwen, a very good straight-sets victory over a former finalist here. Give us your thoughts on the match.

ZHENG QINWEN: I think the match is not easy, especially if she's playing really aggressive. And then she had couple of great winners.

I'm just happy to won the first match here because I always think the first match in the slams is tricky.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. How did you find it under the roof today?

ZHENG QINWEN: Well, start a little different condition compared when you play outside. I feel the ball is getting slower, because it's very humid today, the ball gets more heavier.

But in the roof there's no wind, so the ball hits perfectly. I mean, for me doesn't matter play with roof or without roof. I can do both.

Q. How did you find that adjustment?

ZHENG QINWEN: Well, actually still a tennis court. Doesn't matter you play with roof or without roof.

I think it's the same condition for me and my opponent. You know, I just playing tennis and let's see 'cause it is true.

I do feel the court, the ball today, is more slower than when I play the court outside.
