THE MODERATOR: Well done again. Do you feel your level is getting better after the first round?
LORENZO MUSETTI: Yeah, I mean, was a solid performance from the beginning till the end. I had some up and down during the first and the third set. Definitely I cannot complain about the level that I'm showing.
Of course, even today with not an easy conditions to play, but I managed to find out a way to show my tennis and my game. I think we made a great, great match.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. You're No. 7. Your level is getting high. When did you feel the click in yourself happening?
LORENZO MUSETTI: I mean, probably after Monte-Carlo. After the final in Monte-Carlo there was I think a boost of confidence, of something inside that I needed to have. That was probably the results, the thing that I achieved in Monte-Carlo.
Was a strange week because every match I came back from a set down. Many, many times I was really close to loss the match. Definitely I think after that I felt another player also in the daily routine and I know better what I have to do. Of course, also the results in Madrid and Rome, they were like the confirm of this step forward that I made.
Q. You just mentioned your great results on clay. Do you feel the way other players look at you has changed in the locker room? Do you feel perhaps more respected or noticed than you used to be? I think you're a fan of Juventus. Who will you be cheering for on Saturday? Will you watch the final of the Champions League?
LORENZO MUSETTI: I start from the last one (smiling).
Yeah, a live in a tough situation, Juventus. It's not easy to speak about football. But yeah, I'll go with Italian. I'll go with the Inter. I think they made a really, really nice two matches with Barcelona. I will go with them. A few players that I know of Inter. I'll try to watch the match.
Regarding the first question, no, I don't know if anybody's looking me different or not inside the locker. Of course, into the court I think I showed with my results that I have the level to stay there, especially on this surface.
So yes, I think a little bit changed.
Q. Is there a bit of teasing in the locker room between players, French and Italian players, regarding the Champions League?
LORENZO MUSETTI: Not that much, honestly. Maybe because I'm not an Inter fan. I never see PSG fans inside the lockers. Not so much, I would say.
