RBC CANADIAN OPEN

June 8, 2025

Ludvig Aberg

Caledon, Ontario, Canada

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. Ludvig, solid week here. Just talk about the state of your game headed into the third major of the year.

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: It's definitely getting better. I feel like these last two weeks I've seen a lot of improvement, which has been nice. I feel more at ease when it comes to hitting the shots, and I feel like the work we've done since the PGA has shown things that I like.

Still things to improve on, get better, and sharpen up, but I'm looking forward to next week.

Q. What were some of your performance goals heading into this week, and do you feel as though you've hit them here at the Canadian Open?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, I think so. I'm glad we added this event sort of last minute. I wasn't planning on being here, but I'm glad I did. It's an amazing tournament, great turnout. Fans have been great all week.

It's been fun to be here, and selfishly it's been nice to see my game four rounds in tournament play as well before Oakmont. I should feel pretty good going into Thursday next week.

Q. How do you rate TPC Toronto as a prep for Oakmont? Obviously you had some wet conditions here, and you can maybe expect some wet conditions in Pennsylvania this week as well.

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, I think so. Obviously Oakmont is one of the hardest places in the world. It's going to be hard to simulate that. I thought this golf course was great, and I had some mixes between some gettable holes and some stronger par-4s and strong par-3s.

It's a cool mix to go from obviously a drivable par-4 to a long par-3 and then a long par-4 and then some reachable par-3s or par-4s.

It's been great. I had a good time in Canada. Looking forward to next week.

Q. What do you think of the energy, especially the Rink Hole?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: The Rink Hole? It was cool. It was really cool. They started chanting some European songs, which I liked. I thought that was cool.

It's a great hole. I like those holes being a little bit shorter too because you can sniff the hole if you hit a good shot and those things. It makes for a good atmosphere, and the crowd's been amazing all week.

Q. A lot of golfers have a hockey background. Do you have a hockey background yourself?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I don't. I grew up in the southern part of Sweden. I'm not a good skater, so hockey wasn't my thing growing up.

Q. Your thoughts heading into the major next week?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it will be good. I played Oakmont last week before we came here on Monday, and it's a hard golf course. It demands a lot, demands a lot of patience, demands a lot of execution of golf shots, but that's the way it's supposed to be.
