Q. Here with the ShopRite champion. Come close so many times before; I got the better of you one year. How does it feel? Can you put into words how you feel right now?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: It just feels amazing. I think I struggled a lot early in the year and had a lot of tough weeks, a lot of hard conversations, and it feels good. Feels really good for sure.
Q. You had a missed cut last week at the U.S. Women's Open. What did you find this week? Something that you found that provided such great play for you?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: Honestly I played well last week. Me and the U.S. Open sometimes just don't get along. I think I just carried my ball striking into this week. Hit the ball really well last week, hit it well this week, and just sunk some putts.
Q. Saw you grabbing your back a couple times out there. Is everything all right with your back or is it beware the injured golfer?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I'll be fine. I definitely always play better injured for sure.
Q. Ilhee Lee was not backing down, especially on the back nine. You came on with birdie at 14, great up and down on 15, another birdie at 16, great putt on 18. Felt like you kind of took control whenever somebody got close to you. Did it feel like that?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I really just wasn't thinking about anything else. I think in my mind I had set on 14-under, so I was really just trying to get to that number. Obviously did a little better. Yeah, just feels really nice. Just kind of stayed in my zone the whole time.
