Corey Conners

Caledon, Ontario, Canada

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. I'm sure that wasn't the end to the round you were hoping for, but overall how would you rate today's performance?

COREY CONNERS: Overall it was good. I did a lot things well. Got on a couple little runs and saw some putts go in. Just a few sloppy errors with some wedges really held it back from being a great day.

Overall pretty solid, happy with a lot of things that I did. Just disappointing to make a couple sloppy errors, and they cost me.

Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, what are you hoping to build on?

COREY CONNERS: Something that I was really happy with today was hitting a lot of great mid-long irons into some holes. I feel like that part of my game is really sharp. Give myself some better looks with the wedges and keep driving it well.

There's lots definitely to build off of. Saw a few putts go in as well today. Going to have to have everything line up for me tomorrow. Yeah, I think it's in there.

Q. What's the support been like from the fans today?

COREY CONNERS: Support's incredible. It's so cool playing at home, representing Canada on the PGA TOUR. I'm getting a lot of love.

There's some moments it was pretty loud out there, and it's a special feeling.
