Q. Bubba, fantastic round today that's put you right in the mix going into tomorrow. It's been a long road since your last win back in 2018. How satisfying is it to see your hard work and perseverance pay off?

BUBBA WATSON: It's nice. It's nice to see the putter working, making some putts. Missing some putts, but that's golf. But this year the putter is the only thing we're really focused on. The driver and the irons are going to figure themselves out, so the putter is what we're really focused on, and it's working this year.

Q. Your game is clearly more than enough and capable of getting that W, but specifically mentally, what is it going to take going into tomorrow to get it across that line?

BUBBA WATSON: The mental side I'm good at. I've dialed that in. I've went through some bad stuff a few years ago, battled through that, so we're good there. Now it just comes down to believing in myself and knowing I'm going to hit these shots, making the putts, trusting the lines. But mentally under pressure, that part doesn't bother me, now it's just trusting the lines, the ten-footers, the five-footers, and hopefully they're going to go in.

Q. There's been people on the RangeGoat camp that's been accusing me of being a Goat curse. Yesterday I followed you and you were 3-under, today 6-under. Surely I'm good luck now?

BUBBA WATSON: Just for the record, though, you didn't show up until like 14 because me and Pete were looking, we were like, there she is, so it was on 14. So what did I do from 14 on? I did okay. Pete struggled but I did okay. We changed the curse, I guess.
