Q. All right, here with Caley after the second round at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Just an awesome round today to move up the leaderboard and make your first cut on the LPGA Tour. Talk about what today was for you.

CALEY McGINTY: Yeah, today was really fun. I think this tournament so far has been the first one the year where I haven't been shaking nervous on most the holes. I felt comfortable. And I have my best friend caddieing so it was just a really fun day.

Q. Why do you think you weren't so nervous playing this event? What was it about this one?

CALEY McGINTY: I think being a part of Team ShopRite and the stuff we got to do in the week and just getting to see what the tournament is about outside of golf and how it gives back just has given me a bit of perspective and I realized trying to make the cut and stuff seems really stressful, but at the end of the day it's kind of just golf.

I think that's probably helped.

Q. Bogey-free today. You had an eagle. Talk about your eagle on some of those birdies. What was it on the holes? Did you hit it close, putt well?

CALEY McGINTY: I hit it close all day. I had a lot of good looks. The eagle was very unexpected. I did not hit a good shot into the greens. I think I had 200 yards and flared my hybrid. I had I think it was over 60 to 70 feet and just tried get good speed. I thought I hit it really hard and I was like, sit, and then it went in, so it was fun.

Q. One of those you walk away from...

CALEY McGINTY: Yeah, I was like let's go on to the next tee.

Q. And looking ahead to tomorrow's round, how do you think you'll approach the round, feel about the round making the cut that you haven't done before?

CALEY McGINTY: I think just try and enjoy being out there. I'm so excited to finally play after the cut line, so just enjoy time with my friend on the bag and just have fun.

Q. How do you know your friend?

CALEY McGINTY: We were teammates in college at Kent State. She was a senior and I was a freshman.

Q. So she's helping you a lot out there?

CALEY McGINTY: She is, yeah. She knows my game. I've been around her a lot. So it's just really fun.
