Q. All right, here with Jennifer Kupcho after her second round. Really great round today. How did it feel on your end?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, it felt good. I think a little bit of improvement to be made tomorrow. Wasn't hitting the ball super great off the tee, but at least out here it's manageable out of the rough or fairway bunkers I guess.

Was just really giving myself opportunities. I think scores tend to be higher in the afternoon, but I think I kind of just went into it with the mindset of like not every putt will fall. Just be patient. On these greens you definitely have to be patient. I started hitting them a lot closer and that helped as with will.

Q. How good did the last two birdies feel to finish off the day and move up a little bit?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I mean, I think kind of rounding the turn I just wanted to get to 8 or 9 honestly. That was the goal I had set in my mind.

But, yeah, to finish off with two more, really just gave myself opportunities and the putts happened to fall.

Q. The par-5s yesterday versus today, can you address about how you approached them?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Approached them the same. Didn't hit the fairways yesterday and hit the fairways today, so it's a lot easier obviously to get it up closer to the green. I'm a long ball hitter, so from the fairway I was able to get to the greens today.

Q. And just wondering how you dealt with the rain, the bugs, the humidity, the sun, a myriad of conditions out there.

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, we didn't get too much rain besides in the middle when we had to stop play. It was really just during the warmup, so that wasn't too bad.

The bugs, it is what it is. I would rather have bugs than rain, so it is what it is. Doused myself in some vanilla extract and seemed to help a little bit.

Q. Are you staying on property this week?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah.

Q. How big of a benefit is that? Do you consider it a benefit?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I think it's just very convenient. I mean, one of the best things for me, obviously my husband caddies for another player, so I think it's really important for us to stay semi close to the golf course. It's nice not having to get up and take him to the golf course in the morning. That's a really big thing for us.

Q. You guys don't have a commute. Can have breakfast and dinner together.

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, absolutely. It's super nice for sure.

Q. Just along those lines with the accommodations being provided this week, how nice is that? It's an additional bonus a lot of tournaments are doing now.

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, it's really special out here on the LPGA getting the accommodations covered for us and provided, even the transportation most of the time if it's not on site. It's obviously super special to stay here at Seaview. They've done a great job for us this week.
