Q. All right, here with Nelly after her second round to the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer. Summarize this week ask playing hear at ShopRite, how the course has been?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I haven't been back in a while. I think 2020 was the last time I was back. It's an interesting golf course because it's very narrow off the tee and the greens are very difficult to kind of read, but they're pretty bumpy as well.

So overall, I mean, very happy with how I played today, the past two days. Yeah, it's a tricky golf courses. Keeps you on your toes all the time.

Q. What was the biggest difference today you were able to score, shoot a little bit lower than yesterday?

NELLY KORDA: I think the weather was better. Wasn't as windy. We were playing in pretty gusty conditions yesterday and with the greens being kind of smaller already, it's tough to kind of judge your starting target with everything. Just makes it a little bit more difficult

Q. Do you think going into tomorrow -- people have come from behind to win here the last couple years; do you feel like you still, even though you'll be several shots back, have a chance tomorrow? And going out and posting a score early, you think that could impact the rest of the field?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I mean, you never know what's going to happen. I'm just going to focus on my first tee shot and take it from.

Q. Do you have a sense of your importance to golf right now?

NELLY KORDA: It's nice to see everyone come out and support. It's my favorite of part of what I do is kind of inspiring the next generation, seeing all the little girls and boys come out and support, not just me, but all of us out here.

Definitely seen a trend in a really great direction even just with the fans that have been coming out.

It's great to see and great to play in front of as well.

Q. Did you see yourself in some of those faces?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I mean, pretty far from now, but I mean, I was in that position a while ago. I had great role models that I looked up to.
