Q. Excellent round of golf for you there. It looked like hitting it closer resulted in the putter working well for you today.

JAKE KNAPP: For sure. I felt like I was hitting it well pretty much all day and was able to get some putts to fall on my back nine there.

Q. Was there anything that you worked on? Not to bring up two missed cuts in a row, but that's what your previous starts were. Anything you worked on in between?

JAKE KNAPP: Nothing too crazy, just simple stuff. Some wedge stuff and trying to hit it a little more solid. I feel like I've been kind of struggling with the putter for a month or two. So, yeah, focused a little bit on that. Overall, just touched a little bit of everything.

Q. New golf course here for the Canadian Open. How did it fit your eye?

JAKE KNAPP: It was great. I was actually here in 2019 for a Canadian Tour event. So I'm pretty familiar. That probably helped a bit in terms of what to expect. But it's been redone a little bit, and it's playing a lot longer now.

It fits my eye well. I feel like, if you can drive it well, you can give yourself good opportunities.

Q. I've talked hockey in the past. So now we've got to talk Stanley Cup. Did you watch Game 1 last night?

JAKE KNAPP: I watched about four minutes into overtime, and I kind of had to go to bed. I was excited to see the Oilers win. I want to see McDavid get his.

Q. He's impressive, isn't he?

JAKE KNAPP: 100 percent. It's a fun team to watch. Plus you've got Corey Perry on there, who was a Duck previously. So cheering on Corey.
