Ruoning Yin

Erin Hills, Wisconsin, USA

Erin Hills GC

Quick Quotes

Q. What did you see from the course today in comparison to the first two rounds?

RUONING YIN: I think the course is definitely firmer and faster compared to first two days and pin position is really tough today I would say.

Yeah.

Q. And then what are you looking to improve upon before the final tomorrow?

RUONING YIN: I think my game is on spot, and I guess just really depends on the conditions and the hole locations.

I would say I can be a little bit more aggressive for tomorrow, but you got to -- I mean, it's U.S. Open. You got to play smart and be aggressive is kind of difficult.

But we'll see.

Q. Lastly, three birdies today. What's working on the course for you?

RUONING YIN: I would say I executed the shot really well compared to couple -- I mean first two rounds, especially on the tee shots, and my ball striking is pretty good, so I think just -- I hope I can play, I mean, just same like today. I can play the same strategy for tomorrow and be a little bit more aggressive.
