Quick Quotes
Q. Two rounds down, both par or better. What would you say is the strongest part of your game the first two rounds the competition?
LOTTIE WOAD: I think in general my approaches have been really solid, particularly yesterday. Just the speed of the greens as well. It's pretty easy to creep out here, and seem to live with that.
Q. One of three amateurs under par at the moment. How special to be here at your second U.S. Women's Open playing well?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's great. I learned a lot last year playing such a tough course. Learned about that and how to stay patient, which was really key today. Pars were pretty good on my final nine so just trying to stay patient.
Q. Conditions-wise how did today compare to yesterday's first round?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yesterday wasn't too windy. A bit windy on my second nine. First kind of ten holes were pretty perfect, and then it picked up into the wind the next few which made it a bit more tricky. Still less windy than the practice rounds so pretty good.
