Quick Quotes

Q. Really strong start today. Finished tied for fifth right now. Talk about your round today.

MAJA STARK: Yeah, feel like I had a pretty hot start, but then struggled a little bit on the front nine. Just felt like it was harder and more wind I guess for a couple holes.

Yeah, my putting wasn't really there, my long putting. So struggled a little bit in there but really felt like a major.

Q. Did anything surprise you on the course today or what part of your game were you the happiest with today?

MAJA STARK: I feel like couple pins surprised me especially it's tough out there. There are pretty severe slopes and the USGA did what they do and put the pins right on those slopes.

What was the second part?

Q. What part of your game were you the happiest with today?

MAJA STARK: I was pretty happy with my short game, putting, because there was a lot of -- there is a lot of undulations right around the hole and I felt like I putted better than I usually do.

So my driving was good, so, yeah.

Q. And then last one: (Wind interference.)

MAJA STARK: Oh, it's so much fun. I really like this course. I feel like it feels very open but then also it's not. There are bunkers everywhere and the rough is pretty nasty. But I like it visually a lot, and I think it has a good variety to it as well.
