CHARLES SCHWAB CHALLENGE

May 25, 2025

Bud Cauley

Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Colonial CC

Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: Great playing this week. It looks like you're projected third in the Aon Swing 5, which means you'll qualify for the Memorial. Can you give us your thoughts on that?

BUD CAULEY: Yeah, it's obviously exciting to get in those signature events. It's a place I've played at a bunch and had a couple of good finishes, so I'm excited to get up there and play.

THE MODERATOR: Overall, what do you take away from this week?

BUD CAULEY: You know, I putted really well, especially today. Chipping was good too. A lot of good iron shots. It was tricky out there. I feel like if I can just hit a couple of more fairways, it will go a long way for me.

THE MODERATOR: You have I believe a handful of top 10s in the last seven starts. How are you feeling confidence-wise about your game?

BUD CAULEY: Yeah, it's good. I feel like I'm doing a lot of good things. You know, today it's obviously disappointing doubling 13 there. It's not even so much swings. It's decisions out there and trying to get over that hump, but happy with my game and just a couple of little things and get over the edge.
