CHARLES SCHWAB CHALLENGE

May 23, 2025

John Pak

Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Colonial CC

Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: Thank you, John. They say the hardest thing to do in golf is follow up a good round. How rewarding is it to birdie the last for a 68?

JOHN PAK: Yeah, it's pretty rewarding. I grinded pretty hard out there. Didn't think it was playing too easy in the afternoon. The last few holes the greens picked out a little bit, and the wind swelled a bit. I hit some good shots, hit some bad breaks, but it's nice to finish out with a birdie on 18.

Q. The way you played this season, what feels different this week?

JOHN PAK: Just feeling really confident with the putting. I know they didn't drop today, but I still felt pretty good about it.

I hit the ball pretty good all year. The putts are falling and the confidence goes up.

Q. You talked about this yesterday. What's been the key in the tournament?

JOHN PAK: Just alignment and making sure I'm hitting my lines on right-to-lefters to left-to-righters. Like I said, when you are aiming off by a cup, it's pretty hard to make putts.

Q. What are your plans tonight?

JOHN PAK: 20 minutes, I've got to get going. I feel pretty good. After a loss like that where things didn't go your way, hopefully they're a little fired up and ready to go. Yeah, I'm nervous, but I'm excited.
