RIVIERA MAYA OPEN

May 23, 2025

Hye-Jin Choi

Mayakoba, Quintana Roo, Mexico

El Camaleón Golf Course

Quick Quotes

Q. All right, Hye-Jin, another good round today. What was the difference between yesterday and today?

HYE-JIN CHOI: I mean, today was similar like yesterday. It wasn't really great shots, so I feel really tough day.

But if I missed like fairway or rough, but I make lots of par save. That's why I still make under, so...

Q. Yeah.

HYE-JIN CHOI: I mean, it was tough but it was good.

Q. Love it. Going into tomorrow, what are you going to work on? What are you going to take into tomorrow's round, moving day?

HYE-JIN CHOI: I mean, I feel tired or something, really hard I feel. So I just rest and some eating. I mean, that's it. Really important I think.

Q. What were some of your best birdies today?

HYE-JIN CHOI: I forgot where. (Laughter.) I think -- oh, yeah, I mean, it was No. 12? 11? It was par-5.

Q. So No. 13.

HYE-JIN CHOI: It's 13. Yeah. (Laughter.)

Q. 13?

HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah, it was 13. I missed tee shot, so it was in (indiscernible) line, but I hit it inside there.

So I layup and then make the birdie there, so it was really good one.
