Quick Quotes

Q. Congratulations guys on a great run this week. How about playing today in had these conditions.

CHARLIE FORSTER: Yeah, no, it was definitely a bit different. Had to kind of keep dry and definitely keep the ball in the fairway paid off. There were some holes we had to play a little bit differently just to try and get it in the fairway.

Yeah, we kind of had a few slipups here and there. Overall pretty good week. My 8% of the golf was good and just had a few bad holes coming in.

Q. This team had not played 15, 16, 17, 18 since stroke play. You took them to 18. When does that say about how well you gutted it out and stayed in the moment?

STEEN ZEMAN: I think we stayed in our game plan and did the same thing we've done in the other matches. So stayed with it the whole way. We fought to the end.

We just didn't really have any putts. That was our problem. Didn't hit anything. They took of advantage of holes they made putts on and kind of just took the momentum and in the end got us.

CHARLIE FORSTER: That was the main thing really. Just didn't see anything drop.

Q. What did you find out about yourselves this week that maybe you didn't have maybe just at regionals last week?

STEEN ZEMAN: I haven't really ever played Match Play before so it was cool like to go through it. It's mentally different actually. It was cool because I mean, you don't want to like fully rely on your teammate and it's different than playing by yourself.

I don't know. I don't know how to really explain it. It's just different. I can just say that in that aspect. It's different golf but fun though.

Q. You played plenty of Match Play. Overseas you play a lot more.

CHARLIE FORSTER: Yeah, yeah, for sure. It's cool playing a course like this for Match Play. Definitely rewards a straight drive and you can really take advantage of it.

You know, kind of what I learnt is just never think someone is out of it or think too ahead. Couple times on 15 been pretty close and I think quite far away is and he holes it and I miss. Just went in the hole before. That was a bit of a mental switch.

Yeah, just being more aggressive really, too. If you have a mid-iron, short iron in, go to the flag. Even in this Match Play. I think there were a few times try to do too much with the ball and hit it to 20 feet or whatever. Still a good shot but you have to make the birdie.

Q. Yeah.
