Quick Quotes
Q. I know you guys are exhausted. I don't know if you know this, you probably don't, the longest quarterfinals match in history. Did it feel like that long?
TYLER MAWHINNEY: It felt pretty long, yeah, especially since the first match was 18 holes, too.
WILL HARTMAN: Yeah, it was a long day. But I think we both just tried to -- well, yeah, I'm so tired I can't even think right now. But it was a lot of fun out there, and we both kept our head in it and tried to pull it out, and we got it done.
Q. How often do you play 36, let alone 41?
TYLER MAWHINNEY: We've played maybe two rounds at U.S. Junior and we've played the Polo. That's about when we play. And if you make U.S. Am, so not very often.
Q. How jacked up are you to be in the final four?
WILL HARTMAN: It's awesome. I mean, I'm more focused on getting home and sleeping, getting some food. I'm pretty hungry. But I think we're going to remember this day for the rest of our lives, so it was really cool. Win or lose, it was really cool to be in that position, and we gave ourselves a chance, and we were lucky enough to pull it out.
Q. The final hole, was it a birdie, par --
WILL HARTMAN: Tyler hit it to a foot from 195 yards.
TYLER MAWHINNEY: 7-iron, in the dark.
WILL HARTMAN: I thought we were dead to rights on No. 3. I pulled a rabbit out of a hat there.
TYLER MAWHINNEY: That's the most important one. If he misses that one, it was over.
WILL HARTMAN: We tried to stay patient and tried to just be able to see out there. It was hard. It was getting dark. We were tired, but we got it done.
