THE MODERATOR: Jasmine, congratulations. Your thoughts on being in the final here in Rome.

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, it's amazing to be in final in Rome, of course. Yeah, today was a tough match. At the end I got the win. That what the most important thing.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You're the first Italian woman in the final since your doubles partner. How much has she helped and meant to you in your career, particularly this week? I saw her giving you that pep talk the other day before you came back.

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah. I think she's part of my team. She watch many, many matches. Yeah, last match she was a key part because she help me a lot.

Yeah, it's amazing to be in the final as she did. Yeah, it's great.

Q. For some players it's difficult after a big year to follow it up. The pressure, just living up to that again. How have you managed to perform so well this year after everything you achieved last year?

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, I'm trying to be in the mindset that last year was a great year, but it give me a lot of confidence that I have to remember that, a lot of experience that I have in my belt, under my belt. At the same time this year is another year. It's different, completely different story.

At the same time trying to repeat myself, Look, remember that last year we did an amazing year.
