Q. Obviously not the result you guys wanted, but a really good comeback you made there at the end. Walk me through the whole match?

SOPHIA DYER: I just feel really good about how we fought out whole day. We just knew we didn't have our best stuff today and that's just golf. That's how it goes. You're not going to be on every day.

We obviously were down a lot after 9.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah.

SOPHIA DYER: And we just kept fighting. Got some momentum going and kept going even though we weren't hitting our shots as well as we wanted.

Just things weren't really going our way, but we kept fighting so I really like that.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah, I feel like we never, you know, felt out of it the whole day, even though we weren't hitting it great. I have so much confidence in Sophia and I, and so I'm just happy to have her as a partner being down like that.

Q. Yeah. (Regarding momentum.) How do you guys feel you maybe brought it back?

SOPHIA DYER: We kind of gave a lot of holes away, so it didn't even feel like they had a bunch of momentum, which kind of helped us stay in it.

That was really big. We just gave up holes and it was easy to gain some momentum back.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah.

Q. How would you sum up the whole week?

SOPHIA DYER: It was just so fun. That's really the bottom line. We were just here to have fun and that's what we did. Playing well was nice, too.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah, we just were happy to play this many rounds together.

SOPHIA DYER: Yeah.

BELLA DOVHEY: So we're already looking forward to next year.

SOPHIA DYER: Yes.

Q. Obviously next year and the year after; that you guys have a two-year exemption.

BELLA DOVHEY: That's news to me.

SOPHIA DYER: Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, this is just our favorite tournament, so it's great that we get to come back.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah, this is the most fun I've had on the golf course.

SOPHIA DYER: Yeah.

Q. Did you guys have any kind of other takeaways from the week? Anything that stood out?

SOPHIA DYER: It was just really fun to play this kind of format, especially playing match play. It's just such a different game, especially with the added teammate part.

That was just super cool.

BELLA DOVHEY: Yeah, this is one of the only tournaments we get to play at all that's a two-man team tournament, so that's just so cool.

And then to play against other really good players this kind of event is just really cool.

Q. Yeah. Last question: What's next on your schedule for this summer?

SOPHIA DYER: I have the Sea Island Amateur up next and then a bunch of stuff coming up after that in the summer.

BELLA DOVHEY: I have a U.S. Girls Junior qualifier next week.

Q. Where you playing?

BELLA DOVHEY: Mississippi and Sea Island qualifier and then a lot of Florida stuff.
