MYRTLE BEACH CLASSIC

May 11, 2025

Ryan Fox

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA

Dunes Golf and Beach Club

Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: Ryan Fox, the leader in the clubhouse currently. Take us through that round and your mindset right now.

RYAN FOX: It was a lot different than yesterday. It was a lot more steady. I played really well tee to green. Put a lot of shots that I thought were pretty good and kind of 15, 20 feet away and didn't make them and just stayed really patient on the back nine and made a couple of putts on 15 and 17 there.

It was very pleasing to give the guys a run. Obviously 18 is a pretty tricky hole with the breeze off the left. So it's nice to have a chance on the back nine on Sunday, and I might hit a few balls just in case.

THE MODERATOR: You could because Hughes is in trouble to the left. You had won big tournaments on the DP World Tour. What will you use from that if you have a chance to play more golf here today?

RYAN FOX: I can definitely look back on those and know that I've done it down the stretch. Even though I've been nervous the whole time, I was nervous out there today, you just go through the process. I know that's really cliche, but it's cliche for a reason. It works.

Go up, focus on just trying to hit the shot I'm going to hit and see what happens from there. I did a really good job of that the last sort of eight holes today. If I get another chance, I'll do the same thing.
