THE MODERATOR: Welcome back to Rome. How did you feel when you saw your name officially in the top 10 of the PIF ATP rankings?
LORENZO MUSETTI: Honestly, it was a goal finally after the results in Monte-Carlo and Madrid that I achieved, something that we were really looking as a goal, as an achievement to reach.
But I feel the same honestly. Nothing much change. Of course, my confidence and my trust on my game, I think it's really improved. That's what made me probably step into the top 10.
Here in Rome, I'm trying to keep this momentum alive.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. You said after your match against de Minaur in Madrid that you have the attitude and the mentality of a top-10 player. Can you describe about maybe how that feels and what exactly you mean by that.
LORENZO MUSETTI: I think I mean by that that making final of a Masters 1000, like in Monte-Carlo, with a lot of ups and down during my matches, then stopped one week, almost two because I played in the weekend of the second week. Going through the Madrid Open to the semifinals without losing a set, it's a confirm of my level, of my mentality I would say, because the top 10 mentality is of course you try not to lose with somebody who is lower than you, you know? It was something that I was feeling when I was outside, when I was 50 or whatever. Playing against a top 10 is something different. Is something different even if you win against top 10. Now I feel the opposite, of course.
