Q. Here with Haeran Ryu after her first round at the Black Desert Championship presented by Greater Zion. Bogey-free. What was working so well?

HAERAN RYU: I think definitely my second shot for iron because my shot first not good, so I just work hard on the practice round for my shot and more practice on the range.

So I got more comfortable for my shot and I make some bogey-free rounds today.

Q. What was maybe the approach or mentality coming into a new course we have not played yet on Tour?

HAERAN RYU: This course, it is so -- not too much narrow but feels like it is because too many rocks in here.

So I just want to keep keeping on the fairway my tee shot and on the easy spot on the greens.

So I just want to, yeah, more calm and more easier. That's good things for today.

Q. You played well last week and obviously off to a great start this week. What's working so well in your game right now?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, I think the change of putter is pretty good for me. And then yeah, it's more comfortable for my shot and, yeah, that's good for last week and this week, too.

Q. Obviously hit a lot of greens in regulation on and have this season. When you come to a place like this where you can't take advantage of your length, does your accuracy really help your game?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, yeah, that's why I work a lot in the driving range. I think I hit a lot on the tee shot, I use the hybrid or 3-wood. It's kind of couple holes I hit iron.

Yeah, more comfortable for the accuracy than distance, so that's good for me. And then before I'm turn to pro my drive distance is not too far, so, yeah, I work hard for my long iron.

That's good for me and that's stronger for me, yeah.

Q. Looking at last week to this week, it's very different golf courses.

HAERAN RYU: Yeah.

Q. Very different type of golf. How do you switch your mind to get ready for this week?

HAERAN RYU: I'm not change something from my mind, because last week it was so tough golf course and this week it's tough, too. So I just thinking more accuracy for my shot and I think same as last week.
