RICHARD BLAND: Really? I hope it's good.

Q. Take us through it. I'm going to let you take over.

RICHARD BLAND: Yeah, I felt I got a little bit unlucky off the tee. It just kind of went on to the downslope a little bit. I was in between like 4-iron and 7-wood, and I think just because it was on the downslope I didn't think I could get the elevation on the 4-iron, so I was just trying to hit a soft 7-wood, and it came out perfect.

Q. You're obviously going for the flag.

RICHARD BLAND: No, no, I was trying to go up the gap really.

Q. You pulled it?

RICHARD BLAND: No, that's exactly where I was aiming. Then what is it, about right edge from there? Looks about right edge. But we didn't hear anything. We heard nothing. It wasn't until we got up on to the green, and I'm going, is it in the back trap? Where is it? There was a couple ladies on the left-hand side of the green going, it's in.

The game is not quite there. It's just feeling a little bit uncomfortable. Yeah, I've just got to try and -- I don't know, I kind of don't really know what I've got to do to make it comfortable.

Q. 5-under is pretty comfortable to me.

RICHARD BLAND: Even so, like last year I shoot 5-under and it was kind of almost like -- not easy but a breeze where I feel like I'm having to work a lot harder than I normally have to. I've just got to try and get it -- it's good here, but I can't get it on the course.

Q. You've got some majors coming up. How are you feeling going into those?

RICHARD BLAND: Yeah, hopefully if I can finish strong tomorrow and get a little bit of confidence, I think that's just kind of what I need. If I can finish strong tomorrow and then take that forward into next week, then yeah, then it's major season, so looking forward to that.
