Q. Here with Ronni after the third round of the Chevron Championship, a solid 2-under today, no bogeys on the card. What did you think went well from your perspective?

RUONING YIN: I struck it very good. My ball-striking is very good. Dave just keep telling me, I've got to be patient and the birdies will drop. I'm very patient until the last hole, so I made a birdie there. Pretty good.

Q. You only have three bogeys on the scorecard across three days. What has been the mindset? We've heard from players about par is good out here.

RUONING YIN: Yeah, it's a major week. Par is always good at major weeks. But I think I'm three shots back, and I think I've got to be aggressive tomorrow to catch up.

But my ball-striking is pretty good, and it's right on the spot. So I'm very excited for tomorrow.

Q. You're a major champion already, done it before. What do you think it'll take tomorrow? Do you have any confidence going into tomorrow knowing you've done it before at a major?

RUONING YIN: I think just really staying present and be patient, one shot at a time, and try to -- some of the pin locations are kind of tough, and you can't go at the pin every hole, so you've just got to be smart, and like I said, be patient.

Q. I know Baltusrol was a little bit different of an experience for you, but does it help that not all eyes are on you to really make a move late, or does chasing really help you play well in a final round?

RUONING YIN: I don't really mind either chasing or leading. I think just, like I said, staying in the present, there's nothing you can do. If somebody shoots 6-under par, 7-under par, there's nothing you can do. All you can do is just do your best. So I'm just going to do my best tomorrow and try and chase that trophy.

Q. How do you feel your consistency this week has been rewarded?

RUONING YIN: I'm happy. I mean, three bogeys in three days, there's nothing I can complain about. Just keep doing what I'm doing and stick to my routine.
