Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Mao Saigo after the third round of the Chevron Championship. 3-under today. How would you describe today's round?
MAO SAIGO: The course condition was pretty hard here today, so it was pretty difficult to make birdies, so I kind of struggled.
Q. You still carded four birdies. How proud are you of those birdies with these conditions?
MAO SAIGO: Two of them were chip-in birdies from outside, so I was pretty lucky.
Q. Heading into tomorrow you'll be in the final pairing. What does that mean to be in that last group with the leaders?
MAO SAIGO: Last year I missed the cut by one, so it was kind of pretty important for me to be able to come back and compete on the last day in the last group.
Q. You've been in the final group several times now with only being on the LPGA Tour for a year. What have you learned in those final groupings?
MAO SAIGO: Every time I'm in a different spot, in a different situation, so pretty hard to learn from it. But tomorrow I have another chance, so we'll do what I need to do and focus on my golf game.
Q. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, it'll be a great finish for you in this major championship. What are you looking forward to most about tomorrow and just the opportunity that it brings?
MAO SAIGO: I just need to focus on my golf game just one by one, and not only golf game but try to control my mental control, too, and hopefully I will win.
