Quick Quotes

Q. Jon, I heard you shot 59 last week, beat up on Puig pretty good. What did you do between Augusta and this week to get ready?

JON RAHM: Just continued working on some of the good feels I had on the weekend at Augusta, continued hammering putting a little bit, just a little bit of extra work, and I think obviously it paid off last week even though I think most of what happened is Augusta was so difficult, Miami and Augusta were so difficult that going to Arizona, it was a little bit softer and receptive and the greens were a little slower. It was easy. It seemed easy after those two courses.

Q. You always make it look easy, though.

JON RAHM: No, but clearly working on putting and even based on today, gave myself plenty of chances and made a lot of putts.

Q. What do you like so much about playing this course?

JON RAHM: I mean, most courses in Spain kind of look like this. Where I grew up in northern Spain is quite a bit of elevation change and tree lined and poa annua greens. This is what I'm comfortable in. I may be known as more of a long course ball striker, but this is what I grew up in, kind of have that feel of almost like a youth feel when I come to these courses, and I thoroughly enjoy them.
