Q. Maybe talk us through the last five or six holes.

KRIS VENTURA: Yeah, obviously we got off to a slow start, and after we both managed to three-putt, I think we made a really good comeback and complemented each other well. I think hit some good shots close to the hole and then made some good putts at the end.

Q. How did this pairing come together?

ANTOINE ROZNER: I think we had a nice discussion a couple weeks ago about -- well, more than that, if we were interested in playing together, and I think it worked out well. Kris played amazing today. I went nothing for a few holes and he went birdie-birdie-birdie. Yeah, that made a big difference today. Three more rounds to go, so let's see how it goes.

Q. Did it free you guys up at all now that you're sitting there with a 61 going into the foursomes format tomorrow? Does it free you up knowing you're right in it and you posted a good number when you need to?

KRIS VENTURA: Yeah, but it's only the first day and a lot can happen in the foursomes. It's obviously a really good start, and we look forward to the rest of the week.

Q. Is it hard to be patient in this format knowing that this is the format where scores are generally better? Is it hard to be patient and not want to press?

ANTOINE ROZNER: It's not easy because you see everyone else's score and you're like, oh, you're so much behind and you feel like you need to make up so much ground. But in the end if you stay patient, if each and every one of us stick to his job and try to put himself in good position, it can turn around quickly, and that's what happened for us today. We played really nicely from 1 to 9, our back nine.

As you said, you've got to stay very patient and not get too excited or too -- you feel like you need to rush anything. So patience is key in this format.

Q. You guys started early with probably not a lot of wind?

KRIS VENTURA: Yeah, obviously it started blowing a little at the end, but it'll be the same thing for us tomorrow when we play late. I think usually the wind picks up in the afternoon, so I think it'll be a good test for sure. The course is in really good condition, so we look forward to it.
