Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with In Gee after her first round here at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. Got off to a little bit of a slow start, but really picked it up as the round went on. What went into today?

IN GEE CHUN: It was quite nervous out there because lately I was not sure what I'm doing well, but I had really winter training with my new swing coach, so I was thought everything going the right direction.

So I tried to focus on my game and trying to like trust all the process. That makes little like nervous, but at the same time, I the Rory's interview, what he said. Even like no pressure, nothing is even more problem, so I trust that way.

And then I'm so happy to shoot like low score today, yeah.

Q. As you went through the round and seeing you make a couple birdies in a row here, did that maybe ease some of that nervousness you had and then just let you focus on the game itself?

IN GEE CHUN: I mean, was little cold out there, so me and my caddie talk. It's good pressure, but I don't know, it's from the cold weather, too.

Just keep trying to like stay strong. Then trying to like practice a lot and then as much as I can out there.

Yeah, that's it.

Q. What have you made of El Cab, the course? What do you like about it? Is it tricky or anything?

IN GEE CHUN: It's little hilly, and during the practice round I got feel it's similar to like golf course in Korea. So I'm always play some hard course it's more fun, other than just simple like boring course.

I really enjoy this week, yeah.

Q. What was the most difficult part about today for you?

IN GEE CHUN: It was going to pretty easy today because the putting was really good. I mean, always it's hard to stay like same as the hole 1 to 18th hole.

Like when I knew I'm shoot pretty good and it start the pressure from there, too, so I'm trying to stay like same mindset like as start and the finish.

Yeah.

Q. And you said it was pretty cold today. Did you make any adjustments to your game at all due to the cold weather?

IN GEE CHUN: I didn't know it was that much cold here so I didn't bring my warm stuff. So during the back nine aware my rain jacket.

Q. What are your plans for the rest of the day today before your round tomorrow?

IN GEE CHUN: Have lunch first, then practice, then have good rest before start tomorrow, yeah.
