MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 13, 2025

Brian Harman

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Just your thoughts on your round today?

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, I did okay. Probably my worst day as far as striking it. But got around, made the one eagle.

Yeah, I mean, not super pleased with my performance for the week. Wish I could have had a little better day yesterday.

Q. Walk me through the eagle.

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, just trying to get some good mojo going for next week. I'm trying to shoot the lowest score I can, but some stuff was bothering me with my iron game and a little bit off the tee. You're halfway working on stuff out there sometimes.

Q. How do you balance I'm in competition mode but also need to work on my game and I'm playing every week?

BRIAN HARMAN: Well, for me, I'm here to win golf tournaments. I'm not here to have good showings. As great as top 10s and stuff like that are, once I'm not going to win the tournament, I'm still trying to do the best I possibly -- I'm trying to shoot a low score, but I'm also thinking ahead, and I'm working to try to get a little bit better.

Q. Outside of golf, what's going to be your top memory that you take away from this year's Masters?

BRIAN HARMAN: Had a great week. My wife really enjoys it here. It makes me happy how much she enjoys coming out. It's just such an incredible event. They're all pretty fantastic.

Q. How do you pivot mentally? I covered you at Harbour Town in '99 at a junior event which is like your backyard.

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, I like Harbour Town. I look forward to it every year. It's a nice stretch of golf we have right now. Weather is starting to turn, it's getting a little warmer, springtime. It's just a nice time of year.

Q. How has that course changed over the last 20 years or so as that tournament has gotten bigger?

BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, I couldn't be happier for them. They had some struggles with sponsors in the last 10, 12 years, and now it's one of the stronger events in the spring.

It's elevated, and I'm just so happy the state of South Carolina gets a big-time sporting event like that.

Q. Is that course maybe a better equalizer than any other course because you can't go out there and bomb away, you've got to think your way around?

BRIAN HARMAN: I mean, everywhere is different. There's nuances to everywhere. Yeah, it doesn't matter as much to hit it far there for sure, which I enjoy. But that's kind of the nature of our game now. A lot of these places force you to hit the ball really far, and you kind of have to adapt and hit it as far as you can.
