Quick Quotes
Q. Nick, can you talk about your experience so far this week compared with last week being your first time, what you've learned over the last 12 months to get ready for this one.
NICK DUNLAP: I feel like I can breathe a little bit this week. It's just such a special place. To be here, whether it's your 1st or your 10th or your 20th time, I don't think it ever changes.
The awe factor of this place as soon as you step on property. Yeah, just able to enjoy it, I'd say a little bit more. I think I was a little bit more stressed out and a little bit more tense last year. I think a little bit more gratitude this year for how special this place is and for the opportunity to play here.
Q. As far as knowledge you've gained over the last couple of days as far as just looking at the golf course, what's stood out to you that maybe you didn't notice last year?
NICK DUNLAP: Definitely the greens. I think you learn something every time you go around this place, especially for me right now. I think I've seen something different or maybe I like a different place to leave it on a certain hole.
Last year I thought going right on 15 would be good. I think left may be the play here this year.
I think honestly last year I only played two days, but the more rounds you get out here, the better, and the more prepared you're going to be come game time.
Q. Was dealing with that big throng of kids asking for your autograph the most stressful part of your afternoon here at the par-3?
NICK DUNLAP: So far. They can get a little crazy. No, it's cool to see that many people excited about golf and excited to be here.
