MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 9, 2025

Akshay Bhatia

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Just say something about your new relationship with Hero.

AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah, I've met Dr. Munjal multiple times since I pretty much turned pro, and to be an ambassador for Hero is pretty special because it was the first company I wanted to be a part of. Finally for it all to come to fruition is really cool, because now it gives me more opportunities to go play in India.

Also happy that Sahith and I are representing Indian culture, but with Hero Motors as our corporate sponsor is pretty awesome.

Q. A year ago you came to the Masters with one day, and now you've had a full year. How do you see yourself now?

AKSHAY BHATIA: It's simply nice coming a little more prepared and knowing what to expect. Last year was a cloud nine moment for me showing up. I look forward to kind of playing the golf course again and learning more.

It's such a great week. I just don't take anything for granted.

Q. Any tips from Phil?

AKSHAY BHATIA: Phil, no. I haven't talked to him this week. I was going to call him this week just to see what to look out for. This year he's kind of been doing his own thing, but I feel like I have a good grasp of the golf course.
