Q. Tom, just how special was it to make a hole-in-one in the Par 3 Contest?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, it was cool. I made one a couple years ago, but just trying to appreciate these moments. I missed last year here, so it's cool to be back.

Q. How special was it your son was out there with you?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, it was great. I did pretty well, other than the couple holes he fell asleep and took off. I had a few bad yardages there, but, no, it was fun. We had a good time.

Q. In preparation here, just your thoughts heading into the week here at Augusta?

TOM HOGE: Excited. Every day that you wake up here is great. I get to come out and play this golf course. I'm looking forward to it.

The golf course changed quite a bit from yesterday to today. I expect the same going into tomorrow, so I know it will be a challenge out there, but it will be fun.

Q. How old is he?

TOM HOGE: 4 months. He did great today. So it was good.
