It's actually not as soft as I expected after all the rain we got yesterday. I think that will be good for the next days coming up?

Q. We keep talking on weekends on the majors especially; there is a reason for that, especially here. What have you learned from past experiences that you want to be able to apply here?

SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, any time you can play here competitively it helps, especially with strategy on this course. So many intricacies because the greens are so sloped that just angles matter a lot more here than at regular PGA TOUR events I would say.

Any time you can play competitively with tournament pins and conditions it's always huge for experience.
