Q. Madelene, book a place in the final of the T-Mobile Match Play with your performance against Angel Yin. Was it a help or hindrance having our to out early this morning to win that quarterfinal match?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I think I was definitely awake by the time we started the semi, so I think probably a little bit of a help. I had already warmed up. It was cold this morning, so it just nice to go out again.
Q. How important was this start of this match against Angel for you?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I mean, any time you can come offer to a hot start. She probably felt like she was a bit behind and having to push it a little bit all the way. She played better in the middle and a kind of scrapped it a little bit.
So, I mean, hot start is always good.
Q. What do you enjoy about match play?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I mean, you're never out of it. That's the thing. I think there is so much fun because even though this golf course is so difficult -- you can hit a bad golf shot -- like I have to hole on 6. Like I was out and I hit this shot and I'm like, what just happened?
But you're never out of a hole or out of a match. I think that's the charm of it. Like you can just keep going and keep going.
