Q. All right, here with Madelene Sagstrom after her 4&2 victory over Angel Yin. First time heading to the championship match. How does it feel to move on to this afternoon?

MADELENE SAGSTROM: I mean, it feels great. Like we were just talking about, it's match play. You never know what's going to happen out there. You're never out of it, you're never in it. It's up and down the whole day.

Felt like I started really, really steady and kind of lost momentum a little bit in the middle; didn't hit the ball so well. Just kind of put your head in there. If you start giving away a couple it's easy to have the match turn around.

It was a tough day. Angel is a really good player and she has obviously won as many matches as I have. Good players in the end, and it's just a lot of fun to be on this side of the draw.

Q. I guess technically your second victory of the day. How much did finishing up that match with Celine this morning warm you up for your semifinal match?

MADELENE SAGSTROM: We were talking about it last night because I had to sit and wait for them to finish their marathon of a playoff. I was like, do I want to be in their shoes or do I want to be in my shoes.

You never know. This morning I definitely felt like I was awake. I had already warmed up. I was ready to go out again, so I probably think it was a little bit of an advantage.

I felt the greens a little bit, so it was good.

Q. Lauren just won on the 18th hole.

MADELENE SAGSTROM: Oh, did she?

Q. Yeah. What are you looking forward to most about going up against Lauren? A little Solheim preview or I don't know what you would call it. What do you think of Lauren and her match play skills?

MADELENE SAGSTROM: She's such a good player. Great putter. She's been super steady for the last couple years. It's going t be fun.

We haven't played together too much and didn't get to play together in Solheim either, so I'm excited. I'll play anyone at this point. We've been out here for a few holes.
