Quick Quotes
Q. Jeneath, great round today. Nice way to finish with birdie at the end. Must be pleased with where you're sitting.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, I'm definitely really happy how I played today. The wind started to pick up really hard towards the end, but I managed to get three birdies and that's pretty good.
Q. Yeah, I was going to say. Feels like it's the bad side of the draw, the afternoon draw today.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah. Today was very windy.
Q. But you've set yourself up in a really great position to go out tomorrow morning.
JENEATH WONG: Yes.
Q. Plenty of birdies out there; blemish-free round today.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, I had a bogey-free round.
Q. You've been spending a lot the time in America. How well have you been enjoying college life at Pepperdine?
JENEATH WONG: It's really nice. I've been there for like around three years now, so really excited at what the team can do the last year.
Q. Is that your last year, sorry, did you say?
JENEATH WONG: I've got to like one more year to go. I'm a junior, yeah.
Q. The result that you might get here open some pretty big doors into some majors. Be able to skip college and play the AIG Women's Open if you get through it?
JENEATH WONG: Maybe.
Q. And your second time playing this tournament as well.
JENEATH WONG: Yes.
Q. What did you learn from the last time you played?
JENEATH WONG: The last time maybe just like keeping a bit more patient and then just not rushing it and birdies will come.
Q. Right up there now. Do you change your game plan going into tomorrow's round?
JENEATH WONG: No. I think just the same thing: just staying patient and having easy pars and maybe some birdies.
Q. I guess growing up in Australia, kind of used to the wind as well.
JENEATH WONG: A little bit. Yeah, definitely did help me like try to manage today.
