Q. Most votes in Knicks history. What impact has that had on you, the city and the team?
KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: Just welcoming me home, and for the fans, such a big trade to happen for them to welcome me with open arms back home, and my teammates and coaching staff just really maximized my talent. It's a testament to them. It's a humbling experience to come back home and be shown so much love.
Q. Question about being named a Vice President of the NBPA Executive Committee.
KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: Yeah, it means a lot to be in the position that I've been watching for 10 years now, just grow and mature. The PA has done a fantastic job of progressing the game forward. I'm very happy and humbled that I've been picked by my peers to represent all of us, and I'm excited for the opportunity.
Q. Was it difficult to get started up again after the long break?
KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: We keep talking about the break, but both teams had to deal with the break. So there's no excuses.
Q. What did you think of the whole thing overall?
KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: It was great. I thought the competition was up and I think we did a great job of giving the fans a show. I hope the fans appreciate it.
Q. Looking back on the weekend, do you have a highlight that stands out to you?
KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS: There's a lot of highlights. Being back at Oracle is special. Getting to see Ant (Anthony Edwards) again is special. It's always a great time. I think probably the highlight was getting JB (Jalen Brunson) in the first game. I think that's probably the highlight I have.
